Choosing an In-Ground Pool Cleaner

There are two main types of in-ground pool cleaners: suction and pressure.  Each type of cleaner has its own set of advantages.  Here is quick break-down, featuring in-ground pool cleaners by Hayward.

Suction

Suction cleaners are ideal for pools located in desert and tropical climates with cleaning requirements for fine particles of dirt and small leaves and twigs. They can be installed through the skimmer or on a dedicated line in less than 15 minutes and do not require additional tools.

Pressure

Unlike suction cleaners, pressure cleaners must be installed on a dedicated line and require a booster pump to work effectively. While a booster pump will require additional energy, you will run your entire system less time and more efficiently.
